would microsoft ever do something like this?

thanks to all of you who've checked in with me regarding the big Microsoft and Yahoo! news. lots and lots of speculation over the past few days to be sure. suffice it to say that i'm tired of working at a place where there's so much uncertainty. it's exhausting! one of my biggest concerns about a Microsoft purchase of Yahoo! is the possible affects on Yahoo's culture. I was at Adobe when they acquired Macromedia a few years ago and there was a major ugly culture clash :(
